What
is Trex? Trex easy care decking is a wood-plastic composite made
primarily from equal parts reclaimed hardwood sawdust and
reclaimed/recycled polyethylene plastic
With
Trex decking the plastic shields the wood from moisture and
insect damage, and the wood protects the plastic from UV
damage while providing workability, stability and
traction.
Trex
Decking is available in Natural, Winchester Grey and Brown and
comes in most standard lumber dimensions which include:
5/4"x6",
2"x6",and 2"x4" and all come in 12',
16', and 20' foot lengths.
Custom
stock includes 2"x2", 1"x6", 2x8",
2"x10", 3"x6", 4"x6", and
6"x6".
Natural
and Winchester Grey are manufactured in shades of brown and
weather to driftwood gray tones and dark gray tones
respectively. Brown is colorfast.
